Exactly, everyone thinks a multi generation operation just coasts. Some do, but if you want to grow it and thrive it doesn't work that easy. Good friend of mine told me when his grandpa died the last line in his will said 'boys, never look back and never let off the gas', I will never forget that statement
Yes, those boys probably didn't have to farm, but if they did it would be disservice for them to just rest on what those that went before them did. Imo. |
