For me personally I have very few outside investments currently. I simply can’t justify it with interest rates being up. Back when an operating loan was well under 5% and it felt like the stock market was a guaranteed 10% return, it was easier to operate on borrowed money while keeping some short term investments. But now with the higher cost of operating money, I can’t justify paying inputs with debt while investing in outside investments, especially short term plays that won’t get taxed at the long term capital gain rate. Interested in your thoughts, or anyone else who has been debating that in their mind.
