Hooker Twp,Ne | Forget the life ins part for borrowing. That’s there to pay for your casket and so your wife/ new hubby and kids can live ok if you crook. It’s simple not smart while in business to forget the bank. They’re your friend when and if you need them. The only way to operate without using operating note funds is to deferr income and or grain or livestock to the following year. Now this may take a small bit at a time and you maybe in your 60s or 70s before that happens but when it does happen you’ll feel a lot more comfortable abt farming.
