EC North Dakota | I manage a Cemetery and have set up three separate pages to track lot owners, lable lots, and burial locations.
Excel used to show lay out of cemetery, with different colors to indicate which plots have available individual graves available.
A different Excel sheet that gives more detail of the plots with short information on owners, those buried in the plots. Use this for notes peculiar to any special things to accommodate w ishes of the plot owners.
Word document listing name of person, DOB, DOD, and plot of burial.
Kinda cumbersome but gives me the info I feel we need.
We do not very good records from the past so I tried to update using available information. Our Cemetery was founded in 1890 and the owners did not forward very good information from that time. It is known that there are burials there that were done at night with no notification to the owners of the cemetery,
