scmn | That was my thought. A 9000 BTU would easily cool the space and heat it even with minimal insulation. We have a 12000 btu Della in a 8.5x29ft trailer and it holds 60 deg no problem when it is -15F outside.
You can get them on Amazon pretty reasonable. Get it installed and buy an adapter and then rent the vacuum unit and gauges from O'Reillys and return when done at no cost. Only trick is making sure you get adapter tight and have a good vacuum. Pretty simple to install, just follow the directions.
