Subject: RE: Field maps

Have you tried just using Google maps?  I would scroll in, or out, to get the farm/field to cover as much as the screen as you can.  Then, right click and go to "Print".  You may want to set the print to "landscape", or "portrait" as you prefer.

Try it, and see if it does what you need.

If you want to put in boundaries, you may need to print off a map, and then just hand drawn in boundaries with a Sharpie, or something like that.

Frankly, I use a product called PA OneStop.  However, it is just for Pennsylvania (as far as I know).  I don't think PA OneStop will work for you, and I don't know if there is a similar mapping software for Ohio.

There is one called WebSoil Survey.  Frankly, I haven't used WebSoil Survey in years.....decades.... I don't know if it will do what you want. I'm guessing there is a learning curve to using WebSoil Survey.
