No one's talking about an "implosion". That was Obama era talk from conservatives, along with the continual threat of "Hyperinflation". 

Trumps policies driving down oil prices make Natural gas more expensive in the U.S. market. A lot of electricity is a product of Natural Gas now. So electricity is getting more expensive. We're also exporting Natural Gas to Europe. I'm not sure that even if the Ukraine conflict ends tomorrow, Europe will want to go back to feeding the bear. AI and Data Centers are also driving electricity consumption through the roof. It's kind of a rough setup for a few years here. At least under the Green New deal we were adding wind and solar generation. Now we're not even really doing that unless the Solar project is directly driven by Data Center development or is already in process. So we're going to have a hickup in adding generation to the grid, of any kind.
