This may go both ways, generation wise....some/many of the younger ones tend to be clueless, and only understand point/touch or click with a mouse for apps/programs. What was taught in their school system, or Smartphone usage.
There are seniors who still remember DOS's days, where the CONFIG.SYS (to configure hardware/memory), and AUTOEXEC.BAT (to run startup commands and set up the user environment) files had to be manually configured for say getting a printer to work.
IMHO, the OP failed to be explicit.....saying he had an error message is like saying my tractor don't start. |
