I'm doing a 2 pass corn system. No fall burndown as I have not had time to get it done and I'm too cheap to pay the co-op for a job I wouldn't be happy with anyway.
Come in preplant with 3oz generic callisto, 30oz roundup and 1lb atrazine
Post with 30z capreno, 30oz roundup, 1lb atrazine and diflexx as needed.
Since I have gone to capreno from surestart, I am seeing more canada thistle patches that I can't keep down in beans. Would it work to pull the diflexx out and replace it with 11oz stinger? When reading the label it seems the stinger will provide control of many of the same weeds as diflexx, but add thistle control. Your thoughts?
11 oz Stinger is a lot - I’m probably wrong - but that sounds like a 2x rate which might carryover into following year soybeans especially on the overlap areas. |
