I hate to burst your bubble but if we use this thread as an example then there is not a snowalls chance in........that the user will figure out how to download the correct linux iso, create an image of it on an appropriate USB drive, configure the computer to boot from the USB drive, and then successfully install it.  Those are things that a handful of us geeky types don't fret about but the average computer user would be lost doing.  The biggest problem with this thread is the OP said he had an error but we have no idea what that error is.....which means we can't use Google or our favorite AI bot to find the fix.
