I agree, my youngest granddaughter is 9, and she still believes in Santa.  He usually comes
through, I have learned.......from my daughter.

Back when our kids were young, mid to late 80's, they kept changing their minds on what they wanted from Santa.  That makes it hard for Santa to get the right gift.  Most on here remember the Sears and Penney's
catalogs.  My wife and I just talked about this very thing today while on the road.  She said the best way
for that was to have them cut out the picture of what gift they really wanted, and post it on the frig.  

For the original post question, you never tell the truth about Santa.  He is very real.......
