Sorry to hear that. I always enjoyed her pictures, since I traveled that country from 1961-1968. At that time, most of those barns, that were shown, were still being used for dairy, but today most of them are setting empty. The other thing, that showed up, was how many Amish families have moved into that area, since that time. At that time, there was one Mennonite family, not Amish, whose tractor I worked on at that time. There may have been more Mennonites at that time, but I was not aware of it. |
