Youake a fair pointThe only reason war was putting upward pressure on grain prices is because both Russia and Ukraine are large grain producers. Venesuaila isn’t. The only commodity that war will effect is the price of nose candy and other drugs plus maybe oil prices.

Nose Candy? Good grief. People will believe anything that’s on Fox News.

You’re opposed to stopping drugs from entering this country? Good Lord you’re daft

Do you really believe that’s where our drug problem is coming from? Where did I say I was opposed to stopping drugs entering this country. 1 year ago if someone would have asked you to name the top five countries that are responsible for the drug problem in this country Venezuela would have never been on your list, the only reason you believe it now is you get your news from mainstream media sources. If you think I’m wrong then please attach a link to your independent news media source.

Your 1 year ago remark may be fair and inbounds; however, most “common” folks would have said Mexico, China, and Canada because no media source is going to actually examine the supply/manufacturing/and distribution supply chains of how drugs end up in the drug dealer’s hands on US soil.

Mexican cartels are the Amazon warehouses that buy “direct” from the manufacturer (cocaine from Central American, heroine from Afghanistan, fentanyl from China, etc) and neatly bundle it through their “organized” distribution networks while marking up the price. They can throw in a little of their manufactured meth and super engineered marijuana to make their Harvard business model chains more efficient and less costly.

Now, before anyone goes, “well, my heroine comes from the Philippines” or “I only buy American made meth from Arkansas” - your distinguished taste differentiates you.

The media source I was referring to him believing was that we are messing with Venezuela because we are concerned about their drugs entering our country. It has nothing to do with drugs, it has to do with oil and as another poster pointed out on a previous thread, bigger implications worldwide, but drugs not a chance. Believing we are getting ready for war with Venezuela over drugs is like believing we went to war with Iraq over WMD’s. Most good independent media sources don’t go to far down the path of illegal drugs origination because they have discovered the number one country responsible for illegal drugs in the the US is the US.
