Some of the StockTalk folks will disagree, but get your vet to tract and pelvic score them before you breed, especially on the heifers you are buying. It sounds like you're doing good, but you will eventually catch a hf that has a pelvic opening too small or a hf that is a freemartin that doesn't have a functional tract. Not much money spent to get a good baseline
