Holly Hill, SC | What size card are you using? I never filled one up but also used a 4 GB card and cleaned it off each year. Typically if I didn't clean it off the monitor would be slow as in run behind what was actually getting done. Anyway:
1. If you put a new card in formatted to FAT 32, you will have nothing one the monitor that you have done in the past but will work just fine. You will not have: field names, AB lines, lead compensation settings, equipment or implements, chemicals or mixes etc..... But you can create them on the screen as you have already done in the past.
2. Set up an Operations Center account with John Deere. It is free online based software. Also download the John Deere Data Manger software on your computer. So in simple you will take your old full card and let the JD Data Manager read it. Data Manager is linked to your operations center account. The data will automatically pull into the Operations Center under the Files tab. You may have to Upload the file that eventually shows up. (may take a while so don't expect it to be there right away) Not sure. After all the this information looks good on the Operation Center, you can create a Setup File creator and make a new file to go on your reformatted card. If you have never done any of this before, it will be quite a learning curve. You can find some You tube videos to help.
Also if you have only a few lines that you just want to keep you the future. Pull those up on your monitor and write the headings down. If you start with a clean card you can create a A-plus heading line very easily to duplicate the line used in the past.
