Why? Because I’m honest?
When your three year old daughter comes to you and says she dressed herself and did her own hair today, do you tell her it’s generally frowned upon to match stripes with polka dots and that her hair looked more done when she rolled out of bed? No, you say she looks so nice. What an awful lie to tell, something that’ll make a little kid happy and not hurt anyone.
