| Farmer incomes were bad under Trump 1.0 and just as bad under Trump 2.0. This is not surprising and was expected. Republicans have always made democrat mistakes worse by slow playing or blunting a recovery by using farmers and oil companies to keep the economy running in a slow down. Carter ruined wheat as a US crop then Reagan nearly buried farmers in the 80's with his Fiscal policies. Trump has ruined soybeans as a reliable US exported crop just like Carter did to wheat and Biden tried to crush farmers force them into solar and green energy. Trump is using farmers and oil companies to prop up the economy just like Reagan while leaving farmers in the toilet once again. So how did we cure this issue in the 80's? We started wars in the middle east. How is Trump curing the issue in 2026? He will start wars in south America. Rinse repeat. All politicians are assholes and all of them use the American farmer as a piggy bank to provide cheap food for Americans so they can buy useless crap to prop up the service based economy | |
