oregon | We had a family gathering on the 23rd to accommodate some schedules. I pulled the 8# prime rib out of the oven at 110 degrees and let it sit half an hour under foil and then served it. We refrigerated the leftover chunk and the next day sliced off individual servings and microwaved one minute at 50%. That turned rare pieces into medium rare. Honestly, it was the best prime rib we have ever had, even after the microwaving. | |
