Sounds like the line should be upgraded. Presumably it is steel, and the leaks will continue. I would think they could plow in a 3 inch poly with problems.
At 500 plus PSI pressure, I'm not sure poly pipe would handle it ? The poster stated the line pressure was over 500 psi. But, poly coated steel or other materials could be used . . . .. .
