there has been threads in the past on here about pay levels for hired help, many of the posters are saying for good farm help you need to be paying 70-80,000. Neighbor was telling an employee from another large farm that they just lost a really good young guy, he was told well if they weren't paying him close to 80,000 they shouldn have been.
