Wisconsin | One hose portable units blow the hot air outside, so they suck in hot moist outside air somewhere else in the building, not great. Window units work fine for A/C for a small room, supposedly HD has a reasonable multi speed inverter window unit that's reasonably cheap, if you don't already have a window unit sitting around.
Basically all plug in heaters are 1,500w. Either use two, or better yet wire in a baseboard heater. Or if you want instant heat, instead of always on heat, you could get an overhead radiant heater. | |
