Ohio | Have a few guys in mind to ask? Simply go up and say hey, looking to add a sprayer to our operation and thought maybe you’d like to come run that and then help farm the rest of the year. A lot of coop people would love to come farm. But don’t expect the salary of 75k be to convincing to leave. Not saying it’s terrible but without any other benefits or perks, it’s not great. Have your ducks in a row on salary, perks, days off and what not. That could be a drawing card. If you let them take off for a month or two in the winter when it’s slow, could attract someone that way. | |
