If you tell your kids Santa isn’t real and they blab to other kids at school be prepared for a very unpleasant visit from some other parents.
This is really just an opportunity to teach kids "you don't have to be a jerk to people who believe differently." Not much different than kids who are of a different religion. Of course Santa disbelief is socially unacceptable for some reason.
One of the issues I see with Santa is that he seems rather rude and classist because he usually brings rich kids expensive gifts and poor kids cheap toys. |
