NEMO
Depending on the height of the tree I like to treat the trunk and a couple inches up any limbs to a height from knee to waist high.
I use a gallon pump up sprayer and run very low pressure so it just wets the bark and make sure to get good coverage all the way around.
Usually mix 26 oz of Remedy and 12 oz of 2,4-d then fill with diesel and an oz of oil based marker dye.
Come back in a year or two and just drive slow with the puller on the ground and basically the stumps will shear off at ground level. Once I get a pile on the puller I'll take it to a ditch or larger pile.
This is on pasture ground so I don't worry about anything below ground.
I'd guess that treating anywhere from sprouts to waist high thorns I'll get somewhere close to 75-100 treated per gallon.
