My son's mother's family has some parents that did teach their children that Santa Claus was made up from a young age. They have all ended up in prison or drug addicts with multiple kids from unknown fathers living on welfare. Telling them the truth is not the reason they ended up where they are, but. It goes along with the same thought of the decline of morals, values, and family structure.
