Certainly not. While the true magic of Christmas is the birth of our Lord and Savior, the Santa Claus angle adds its own burst of magic for small children. I think it just depends on the kid as to how long you let it go on. Some figure it out pretty early on and others pretend to believe for quite a while. I would say that newlywed couple will feel differently when they have kids. Or at least I hope so.
