Southern Illinois | I believe so. Here, the local co-ops charge 20 cents over their bid to take it out from what I’ve been told. I’m pretty sure you still own the grain on storage at the elevator. DP would be transferring ownership.
Bins definitely pay in this part of the world especially if you want to hold grain for 6+ months. Storage from harvest til year end is 25 - 30 cents and 3 cents a month thereafter. You can have a bin built turn key for $2.60 - $3.00/bushel depending on size. | |
