| You can be a President with a pretty bad economic agenda and the machine can keep growing. We just had this under Biden.
The tech is more impact full than policy currently. Deficits are a short term play, history proves this lesson over and over. If the next guy has worse ideas, the machine probably grows regardless.
Broad tariffs are dumb. We are growing regardless due to deficits, AI, and also that growth is the natural condition of the US economic machine.
Opportunity costs of policy are generally where the debate comes.
This article and all like it are manipulative misdirection. Want to discuss tariffs honestly? Then talk about what growth looks like all else being equal except the variable. It more boring to read.
