| Back in 2007 I got hit with an ice storm and lost power for a week.Was working 7-7 at the factory so was gone from 6 am to 8 pm the house would get down to 50 but not much lower,Would turn the generator on for 3-4 hours and warm it back up to 65 in the house. A couple times I could see the utility company working a mile away so skipped the generator but it didn't get much colder,,it was close to 20 outside and breezy,,,not sure what would have happened if it was below zero | |
