around 2500 hrs on the thresher when we re did the seals. Not sure if it had a breather What do you mean elevateur , I should have paid more attention in french class Oh, do you mean the Tailing elevator? no, leave it on. Inside the grain tank there is a cover for the main drive shaft, remove that and the plate at the base of that cover, that will give you access to the gear box. Still not the easiest job to do. Lay a piece of ply wood in the bottom of the tank to make it easier on your knee's and ankles.
