Subject: RE: County mains for tile.

West Central MN
County mains here range from around 12" to 26" depending on upstream water flow when they were installed many decades ago. Many county mains are now undersized as people have added more and more tile over the years. Length is around half to a full mile depending on distance to nearest county drainage ditch that ultimately flows to the nearest river.

Our county is struggling to keep the current system maintained and funded. Adding new mains and ditches to expand capacity would take even more tax money than the recent step change increase we have the pleasure of paying.
