Mulberries? They are about as good as thistle rhizomes. Battery chainsaw and squirt bottle of roundup is the effective way.
The guys at Iowa State tell me there is a 2 week period that the tree is growing so fast that it will not be affected by any spray. Even if it is cut clear off.
