We used to do the same. I remember working on a Massey 750 that wouldn’t quite fit in the shop so no heat about this time of year when I was just starting to help on the farm.
Since I took over in 2014 I’ve been trying hard to be done by thanksgiving so that hopefully “All is safely gathered in, Ere the winter storms begin”
