east central ND | The experts have said for a few years that Brazil will continue to increase soybean production 3%??? a year? Dump that on the world market, and where is the new demand going to come from in two years time to boost prices? Low oil prices put a lot of downward pressure on renewable such as soy diesel.
The marketing folks say world wheat stocks are increasing, if the Ukraine war ever ends, more wheat and oilseeds will hit the world markets?
Corn might be the only interesting thing, but the fertilizer monopoly will keep any profits in check.
Other crops such as edible beans have limited markets that are easily flooded if a few folks add some acres to diversify.
Hhhhmmm, tell us what’s in that crystal ball two years from now…..maybe a major multi year crop failure in Brazil and Argentina??? | |
