Everyone does things differently. But harvesting corn in December into January isnt on my list of to dos. Nothing works as good in the cold. Slippery Roads, Muddy fields if the ground doesnt freeze hard. And if the ground does freeze hard then no fall tillage or No Fall NH3 can get applied.
Preparation for the following years crop starts in the fall. With margins squeezed so tight theres not a huge amount of room for error.
Anyone else still chasing corn rows tonight?
