Yes it’s getting dry Yes we’re watering wheat. Been for about 2 weeks and will keep running water until next year. I have a fair amount of allotment left for this year. You say the neighbor did it all wrong. I bet the bottom line shows him to be right… with the cattle vs grain it’s not even close. We grow wheat to have stubble to plant corn into. And yes it’s no till. The only tillage is to fix ruts or washed out terraces
