Southeast Washington | I remember my physical therapy after bad covid that just about got me. I had to start from scratch standing up and sitting down. I could stand about 10 seconds. In my therapy they had 4 inch steps and 6 inch steps. The 4 inch steps at first were the hardest thing for me totally wiping me out after 4 steps. That went on for over a week before I started regaining strength. I had to live in a different house after leaving the hospital as it only had two steps versus the farm house with about 20 total between the front door and the upstairs where the bedrooms are. I fell down the two steps my first time out of the house so it really showed me how much you take mobility for granted when you don't have it. There are a lot of mental games when you know you should be able to do it.
The walk on the level is a piece of cake compared to steps. I'm glad to have my mobility back. | |
