Western Oregon
We drive a 2006 Chevy HHR. We only run the State mandated insurance. I saw where you could get insurance for $19/month. State Farm got me to $21. New pickup prices have always been too high. Still have the original '52 Chevy, bought used for $35 when I was 13, I am 70 now. I insure it for 3 months in summer, permanent antique plate. Paid $2850 for a '76 Chevy 1/2 ton, used, in '78, traded for a 1990 S-10 EL for $3850, new. So plain it didn't even have a radio, Paint slid off in sheets before a year old, they did repaint it under warranty. Traded it and the '95 Cavalier for the HHR, new. We haven't had property or fire insurance for many years. 1 acre, new cabin in the fall of '03....James
