Dealers do not have a way to run any diagnostics on Rate Controllers, connecting to an implement is the only real way, I’ve installed or been involved with probably a couple hundred liquid Rate Controllers and Rate Controller Dry and can only recall two RCD and maybe 3 Liquid Rate Controllers that have failed so they are pretty bulletproof .
What is the easiest way to test a JD rate controller?
