| The leases on rentals in Brookings typically run from June 1 to June 1 so you should start seeing places advertised when we get closer to spring, at least that's the way it was when I went to school there some 35 years ago, damn I'm getting old. Brookings is a little higher in elevation and it gets very cold up there, as others have said a camper won't work. So you're kid is moving to Brookings, that makes Christmas shopping easy, long underwear, wool socks, good warm gloves, snow shovel, ice scrapers LOL, oh well summers are mild, don't need to run the air conditioning most days. | |
