Strathcona, mn | This is not the first time red lake nation has confiscated a white persons belongings. There have beeen multiple issues involving the res boundary across red lake and people mistakenly crossing the boundary and getting their boats, snowmobiles, fish houses, etc, impounded by red lake nation. I choose not to travel through the res anymore. I will go out of my way to go around it as too many local stories of white peoples getting harassed there. Red lake nation is the only res in MN that has never had 1 square foot owned by a white person, anyone that has ever tried in history of acquiring res property has been run out of there. They put up a casino and want white peoples money but then make it very clear that white peoples are not welcome on the res. | |
