NW Illinois
Figured I post this. After participating in this thread I went and tested for a customer at the end of November. This field was harvested corn, picked maybe 10 days before testing.
Here is the differences in the 3 test results I'm posting. Test 1 is standard 0-6" test at a single point established by a 2.5 acre grid pattern or a roughly 330' 330' square area. 10 cores pulled in roughly 15-20' circle. Test 2 is in the exact same circle, now 20 cores because I removed the 3-6" dirt out of the core and only turned in the 0-3" portion to the lab. Test 3 is another 15-20' circle, 10 cores, 0-6" depth mirroring Test 1 but I moved over roughly 25-30' in the field to the west.
These are in PPM
Test 1. OM 2.4, Bray P1 30, Bray P2 34, K 160, PH 5.7
Test 2. OM 3.3, Bray P1 40, Bray P2 63, K 214, PH 5.9
Test 3, OM 3.1, Bray P1 57, Bray P2 80, K 284, PH 6.5

Mostly just showing what moving around and varying depth of probe does to test results. Test 1 is what is supposed to be loaded into computer to generate recs the next 4 years on. I'm not comfortable with doing that now that I've seen Test 3 25'-30" aways values.
If I averaged Test 1 and 3, that would be quite aways from base known values of each since 3 is almost double 1.
