I've sold on eBay for years, even had an online store for a while.  FedEx was always good for me.  Not always best priced for smaller packages but had good service.  It's almost fallen to the same category of DHL.  I paid extra for overnight service from a supplier with an exclusive shipping contract with DHL.  My package sat on a dock 100 miles away for 3 days because there wasn't enough coming my way for it to be worth the drive. (I was literally told that)  I reached the point of refusing to buy from that supplier because they only used DHL.

I'm not there yet with FedEx but it's getting close.

For over 10 years we've had a package delivery box at the back door.  It has a sign on i saying put packages here.  The front door has two signs hanging across the steps saying DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGES AT THIS DOOR and PUT DELIVERIES IN PACKAGE BOX AT BACK DOOR.  My delivery address on most accounts have LEAVE AT BACK DOOR as the second line.
I've contact USPS, UPS, FedEx,FedEx Ground, and Speedie delivery and it is supposed to be on file and show in the driver's delivery instructions.
