Subject: RE: Wago vs wire nut connectors

SE MN
The testing I have seen showed that the wago connection makes more heat than a wire nut, which is never good. A wago is much better than a poorly done wire nut connection but a properly done wire nut is a better connection than a wago every time. I had a sukup dealer tell me they are making all the connections in new dryers with wagos. I'm not a fan of that for low voltage since any small resistance causes more trouble with low voltage than higher voltage higher amp connections.
