I saw an article in news feed about a guy flying in his small airplane. He had an in flight mechanical issue and had to land somewhere. Unfortunately for him it was on the Pine Ridge Res. By their laws they could keep the plane! So the pilot had to go to FAA and Sec of Transportation to work to get it back! Wouldn't that be a shock!
