Huh....markers required when GPS/Satellite is "off line" Newer OEM GPS receivers may have satellite backup if doing RTK when RTK signal is lost. With a GNNS receiver, more sats are available....and accelerometers act like GPS guidance for some distance. Highly unlikely all GNNS satellites go off-line.
Needless to say, if all of the config menus are not configured correctly, stuff can happen. There are farmers using this equipment without radar and not having start/stop population issues

Precision Planting products require only GGA, RMC and VTG strings at 5hz. If the third-party receiver is configured to output a different set of NMEA strings or a different frequency, control issues and diagnostic information will be affected. Check for correct NMEA output (and other GPS diagnostics) whenever control issues occur or information does not display correctly on the diagnose screen.
