west-byGod-Pa. | I worked for 3,1/2 years as a courier, using my own vehicle. Had some trips into NYC area-mostly to deliver prescriptions for CVS to private addresses. I do not ever need to go back. About 1865, Walt Whitman, visiting Pittsburgh & seeing the city from up on the mountain at night described it as “ Hell with the lid off”, given the steel industry, open to the sky, & the smoke of coal fire.
I think of NUC area as being “Hell with the lid off”. | |
