| The spring clip/stab in style is probably more prone to failure than the lever type. I've seen the stab in one's fail just like you see it fail when people use the ones that are built into outlets. Wire nuts have the advantage of being compact and if you twist the wires together first and then install the wire nut you will almost never have a bad connection. I've used a couple of the lever types and where my kid works that's all they seem to use because it is faster. | |
