I might add, as a husband, it really isn't an ego booster when you shop for something you think your wife would like, and she opens the present and says 'why did you get it in THAT color??' Kinda takes the fun out of gifting.
Hadn't been married very many years. Bought wife a dress, had it wrapped @ the store. Had it under the tree, she unwrapped before Christmas, seen that it was the wrong size, took it back to the store exchanged it for the correct size had it wrapped @ the store and put in back under the tree.. After Christmas she finally confessed what she did.
Don't buy her anything anymore, it is like Christmas year around for her as often as the Amazon deliveries show .
