^^^^^This^^^^^ The only thing MS Office has that Libre doesn’t is Publisher. Libre will open and edit MS Office files. A few things may be a bit “clunkier” than MS but once you learn it, it works fine. Also, when Libre does an update it just fixes what is wrong rather than changing everything in the program. When MS updates they move all the command buttons and change the whole look of the program. I’ve been using Libre for about 10 years. Mostly Writer (Word), Presentation (PowerPoint), and Calc (Excel). I’m happy with it. I have built templates for the things I do most often. Sermon outlines, spreadsheets, and slide presentations. I usually donate $20/year support their work. It’s not much but it is something.
